The  eighteenth  volume  of  Studia praehistorica  includes papers that explore the results of significant projects providing crucial insights into the prehistory of Southeast Europe such as a re-examination of the role of open-air areas in the Neolithic of northern Greece, a synopsis of the Tash bair Project in northeast Bulgaria, and a microregional study in the Middle Struma Valley. Another article introduces a previously unpublished, uncommon anthropomorph from Upper Thrace.
